Let's go visit other blogs today
I just feel like some good ole fashioned surfing is in order. Most knitting, but not all:
Let's do start with knitting--Alison to be exact. Sockapaloosa 5 is coming this Summer! Time to start stalking her blog to make sure you get in. I love the "Pligg" concept she adopted last round. I found the pattern I used through this and found lots of new blogs to follow.
Here is a blog I've started following lately--The Beebonnet report. A knit teacher on the other side of the country. But I love to follow what she is doing. East coast blogs always allow me a little tour of that side of the country.
In the support indie dyers area--Ball and Skien has some beautiful muted colors (just the way I like). The link is directed to her blog, Smatterings. Another to follow. I found her through Zeneedle's Persephone project. I might just have to order a kit. I haven't lost the lace bug I had before vacation.
In the local dyer (or Dyer Extrordinare) category--Check out the front page of BMFA. Those are my peeps! if I had returned just one day earlier you would have found me mugging with them.
Tina has added the darling sock monkey pattern from Sock Camp to her site (in kit form) and some new colorways. I am taking the Fiona Ellis classes next weekend so I'm going wait and see if she has a little sales corner set up.
This is a dear friend of mine, Jewlie's store--Flora. The reason I lead you here today is that she is teaching her annual children's herb camp the Summer and still has some spots free. She is an incredibly knowledgeable herbalist and a great teacher. If you live around Portland you should check out her shop! If you have kids from the ages 9-13 you should look into the day camp.
Here is a French friend that has some beautiful posts--French word a Day is her site. Today she has beautiful bleu shutters posted. Right up my alley.
And here is the site for yesterday's book post--Animal, Vegetable, Miracle. This site has some great recipes and resources.
I did not quite finish my weeding project yesterday. Sore hands made me stop. Funny that I have become so soft in the gardening area, but can still flip pans with the best of them.
Today I think I have to out run the rain to finish. And I'm off!

Thanks for the links!

Thank you for the blog tours! I've added the French one to my bloglines list. I am really loving the French and Italian culture sites lately.
